Birdwatching Walk with Seán Roynane

The annual birdwatching walk on the beautiful Beyond The Pale site takes in the gorgeous natural surroundings and the birdlife that calls it home. Led by ornithologist Seán Ronayne, this event has become a highlight of the festival.

From woodpeckers to kites, herons to chaffinches, this is a unique opportunity to witness Glendalough Estate’s birdlife with a brilliant birdsong expert. You’ll learn to recognise the birdsong and calls of various species, explore meadow, marsh and forest, and sooth your way into the final day of the festival.
