POORHOUSE Céilí

Originally a series of house parties which then migrated to the club in 2011, Poorhouse has been a regular fixture on the gay scene featuring in Pantibar, Dublin Fringe, Lisdoonvarna: The Outing and Jigsaw to name a few.

Fusing gay culture and traditional Ireland, Poorhouse is delighted to be back at the Puc Fada stage at Beyond the Pale this year. Holding a traditional Irish event like a céilí in this setting, frees festival goers of their inhibitions early on in the evening and revs their primal engines, connecting them back to our culture and that of our ancestors.
