Playing Field: Aisling O'Mara

Maryland by Aisling O’Mara is an investigation of the flawed. Are we conditioned or doomed to live in the world we enter? Are there chances to crawl out of what we are born into as a social standard? As women in the 20th century we are still bound to old traditions, standards, rules that were placed for us by men, in ancient history. We begin to be cast in the role of “fallen women” doomed for the rest of our days. This work-in-progress is exploring this through humour and true events. As the saying goes "show god your plans and give him a laugh".
