Metasonic Flux: Infinity & Singularity
Spencer Alexander and Mark McNamara, the creative minds behind the Meta Sonic Flux Collective, merge art, science, and technology in thought-provoking installations. Their pieces revolve around a fascination with the universe, the possibility of interdimensionality and a curiosity of the underlying forces that connect us.
Infinity, is an opportunity for everyone to explore and share in the collective experience of looking into the cosmos. A universe within our universe, this luminous anomaly beckons. A small window into the cosmos, Infinity consists of a large hollow dodecahedron. The interior contains thousands of LEDs, enclosed by one way mirrors. Peek inside and step into an infinite star system.
Singularity, ventures into the cosmic mystery of black holes, reimagining these astronomical phenomena as symbols of connection and wonder. It delves into the unseen forces that bind the universe. And us. The installation seeks to mirror this cosmic phenomenon, to unite us in shared wonder and curiosity. A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing, including light, has enough energy to escape it. At its core lies the Singularity, a point where matter is infinitely condensed. A single unity.
